Privacy is very important to us at Baby Scholars. You can rest assured that we will not sell our customer information, or make our customer information available to anyone. E-mail addresses (unless you physically sign up for our mailing list) and phone numbers are used only for the purpose of reaching you regarding an order. Your e-mail address, mailing/shipping/billing address, and number will NOT be shared or used for sales calls. We will not use your e-mail list to automatically place you on any of our mailing lists. The only way you will receive a mailing list is if you physically sign up for our mailing list or have indicated in the past on an order form, that you would like to be included in our mailing list.

All order and credit card information is accepted in a secure environment. Baby Scholars uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, widely accepted as the most secure technology available.

Personalization Policy
All items in which personalization is reqested are non-returnable, except if it is a fault of the artisan's in personalization. Items that are embroidered (non-painted items) take approximately 1-2 weeks for processing before shipment.

For jewelry and painted items, please see the respective item page for the approximate estimate of processing time.

Order and Payment Options
We accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, Amercan Express, Discover and Paypal. Phone orders are not accepted at this time.

You should receive an e-mail confirmation when your order goes through. You should receive another e-mail once the order ships. Priority Mail does not provide tracking numbers, however they do provide a "delivery confirmation number" which is confirmation of the date the order was shipped and will show when it was delivered. We try our best to always provide the tracking numbers when your order is updated as shipped.

At this time we are only accepting orders within the U.S.

Orders shipping to California residents will be charged a tax rate of 9%.

Order Processing Time, Shipping Rates & General Shipping Policy

Order Processing Time
Orders received Monday through Friday will usually process and leave our location within 1 to 3 business days(non-personalized items) - excluding Saturday and Sunday and most holidays - provided the items are in stock. Many orders even ship the same business day, but this is not guaranteed.
Personalized and custom items take longer to ship. Please visit the item page to check their respective processing times. PLEASE NOTE: any order in which personalization is selected, there will be a minimum processing time of 1-2 weeks, regardless if it is noted on the item page or not. Please take this into consideration for your gift giving needs.Some orders with a combination of personalized and non-personalized items, may be held for the entire order to ship together once personalization is complete. You will be notified with a status update if this is the case.

Selecting 2nd Day Air will not speed up the processing time unless noted on the item's page.


There may be a slight delay in order shipment during peak holiday seasons.

Inventory changes regularly. We try to update inventory every 24 hours. On rare occasion an item will run out before we have a chance to update the website. We will attempt to contact you via e-mail or by phone in the event any item in your order is out of stock, will be placed on backorder, or is no longer available.

Depending on the weight of the package, some orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, or via UPS/FEDEX Ground Shipping, at our discretion. Shipping rates apply to per order shipped to one address.

Free shipping offer does not apply to over-sized items that include a delivery surcharge.

Charges calculated at checkout. To view shipping charges before submitting your order, simply enter the shipping address on the order form. Then, select the second day air option and click on the update button located next to the drop down box. Occasionally during order processing we find a package is determined to be over-sized by UPS and will require additional shipping fees. We will contact you by phone or by e-mail for authorization if this is the case.

Order Cancellation Policy
Once an order is placed, we cannot guarantee that it can be canceled. After you place your order, it immediately goes into processing. Depending on how far it is in the process, we may not be able to cancel. In the event you need to cancel your order, please e-mail us and reference CANCEL ORDER in the subject line along with your order number. A representative will be in contact with you by e-mail or by phone if we are able to cancel your order.

In the event we are unable to cancel your order and you still do not want to go through with it, you may make arrangements to return the item/s per our return guidelines posted above once you receive your shipment. If the item is a personalized or a special order, and it is already in production, the order cannot be cancelled and no refund can be issued on personalized items and special orders.

Shipped and confirmed orders that are REFUSED will be liable to a 15% restocking fee.

Return Policy, Return Instructions & Guarantee

We want our customers to be 100% satisfied with the your purchase and our service. In the event you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return your purchase - unless specified when purchased as non-returnable - in its original condition and packaging within 30 days of the purchase. ***Please Note: Clearance & Closeout items are not eligible for exchange or returns. They are FINAL SALES.

You must contact us by e-mail at to receive and RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization). Please indicate this in the subject line of your e-mail. An RMA number is required to ensure proper credit for your return. RMA numbers will not be issued by phone. Please e-mail to obtain an RMA number. You will receive a reply with the RMA number along with instructions for your return.

Some of our larger dropshipped items are subject to a restocking fee if returned. We will let you know upon request of the RMA if there is one.

Return Instructions:

1. Package item well to ensure no damage occurs during shipping. This will ensure that you will receive your refund if the item arrives in original condition. Dress up clothes must be returned in their original condition, not crumpled up and stuffed in the box. Tags must be attached and not worn or washed. Even if tags are attached, merchandise will be inspected for signs of wear.

2. Clearly mark the outside of the box with the RMA number.

Please note that you are responsible for return shipping costs. Sorry, original shipping charges are not refunded. If the order qualified for free shipping at the time item/items were shipped, our actual cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Videos and CDs are not returnable if they are opened unless it is a manufacturing defect and may be exchanged for the same item. Some sale items are non-returnable. Returns on these items are at our discretion depending on if the item is discontinued.

  • Costumes are not returnable if worn or tags are unattached. All original packaging must be available.

  • Custom and personalized items are non-refundable so please choose your personalized and custom items carefully.

    For items damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours) for further instructions. If damages are reported after this you will forfeit any replacements due to carrier regulations on reporting damages. Defective items must be reported to us within 72 hours of receipt. You must e-mail us for further instructions.
