There is a battery saving automatic shut off feature that helps save battery life (shuts off after 45 minutes). Simply push a button to reactivate. Colors can be easily selected from similar buttons right on the turtle with easy access. Twilight Turtle measures a 14 x 5 inches and uses 3 AAA batteries.
